1. How did you find the training?
 
The training was an special and unique moment in my life. It opened my eyes to the needs of the children in the world and also led me through ways of preaching the gospel to them. The training was fun and at the same time full of good lessons for me, who was going to become a teacher in a near future by that time.
 
2. In which way did it help you? 
 
I believe as Christians most of us have, at some point in life, experiences with children that haven't accepted Christ as their saviour yet, but the training made me realise that most of the Christians do accept Jesus when they are still kids, and also made me see that those lives are important for evangelism and even at young age they are able to understand the Gospel and have freedom in Jesus. After my time with the kids in South Africa, I went to study to become a teacher and now my missionary ministry is still about teaching kids about Jesus and His love for them.
 
3. Would you recommend to others? 
I sure would. In fact I do. Even if not in South Africa specifically I recommend my friends of having time involved with the kids ministry. About the training in South Africa with Tina and Willie, well, I'm sure anyone whoever decides to spend some time with them will have an amazing experience with the kids they work with and not only teach the bible but most importantly learn with those children what Jesus' purpose was truly about. Those kids are worth the hours of flight and some Afrikaans language practice, for in the end we hope they will be shouting "Prys die Here" (Praise the Lord) when Jesus comes to take us home.

“I expected to sit & listen to what was being shared but I was blown away because we interacted & do activities.”

I thought I knew how to teach Sunday school but found there was so much more to know.”
